Fire is mighty, but it doesn’t have to be an inherent danger. When tamed, it can benefit the environment in ways you might not have considered.

Lots of articles and news shows up about the Amazon that burns out. About 60 percent of the Amazon can be found within Brazil’s borders, which gives the nation a amount of impact over the region. Not surprisingly, the fires have called international attention to the about of the Amazon.
Everyone on us benefits from the health of the Amazon. As the trees take in carbon dioxide and also release oxygen, the Amazon has a huge role in our planet-warming greenhouse gases out of the atmosphere. Without it, climate change speeds up. But as the world’s largest rainforest is eaten away by logging, mining, and more it may not be able to provide the same buffer and same environment as ages pass by.
As a future Social Worker or any profession we can practice a healthy living or healthy environment by managing our waste. Our professions most of the time focuses on the behavior of people and focuses to the people who are in need but we may not know that the surrounding or the environment that we have should also give focuses. That news about the Amazon fires is a big wake up for us people. We might forgot the mother earth that we have. That Amazon Rain Forest has a big help for our earth for our breathing especially. The practices we may do is the lessen the use of hair sprays and some burning of plastics. We may not know that the ozone layer is getting thiner and thiner as years past. Little by little we can help to preserve and save the mother earth.
